The Effects of New-Sports Activity on Physical Fitness and School Life Satisfaction in Elementary School Students
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of New-sports activity on students’ physical fitness and school life satisfaction. A total of 49 elementary school students participated in this study, and were assigned to the experimental(n=33) and control groups(n=16). For six months, the experimental groups was treated with New-sport activity while the control group was treated with traditional physical education classes. Data were analyzed by independent t-test and paired t-test. The result of this study showed that New-sports acitivity studies demonstrated significant and positive differences between intervention and control for physical fitness and school life satisfaction. Physical education class applying New-sports activity was more effective in the development of students’ physical fitness and school life satisfaction.
