The purpose of this study was to investigate the change aspect of heart rate, body temperature and oxygen saturation according to water areas in scuba diving. The subjects of this study were 12 college man with 1-2 years career. As a result of conducting two-way repeated measures ANOVA, t-test for inspecting mean difference of collected data depending on water areas and measurement time by using SPSS win 14.0 statistic program.
The conclusion is as followings ; First, the heart rate at immediately after diving and in 15 minutes after diving have come higher in the open water area than in the control water area. Second, the body temperature at immediately after diving and in 15 minutes after diving have come higher in the open water area than in the control water area. Third, the oxygen saturations at immediately after diving have come higher in the open water area than in the control water area.
Based on above results, it is different physiological response came out according to water conditions. Therefore, it is thought that considerate of the effective of water temperature, kind of suit and diving time, and following-up study to examine the difference in skill levels of subjects and the rate of the body composition is needed.
