This study offers a plan for illuminating the value of aviation sports and fostering its vitalization through the deriving of a new vision for its development in sync with changes in the aviation sports environment in Korea.
This research finds that in order to develop aviation sports in Korea, it is first necessary to establish a theoretical framework though the creation of an aviation sports scholarship. Second, in order to encourage the interest and participation of elementary, middle and high school students, the enjoyers of aviation sports in the future, information about aviation sports should be included in the school curriculum. Third, the training of professional aviation sports with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience; Fourth, independent plans for development according to type of aviation sport rather than one integrated plan; and finally, the researcher thinks that the proliferation of inexpensive equipment will aid in the development of the aviation sports industry and vitalize aviation sports activity in Korea.
