To resist from the lateral loads, many systems are adopted as a special structural system in the tall building. But most common system within the country is outrigger-belt truss with core system. Meanwhile, progressive collapse is a situation that occurred damages at the whole building because of local collapse, and the keynote of the progressive collapse is not proportional to the initial damages. So, several related associations suggested guidelines to prevent the progressive collapse. Using the column removing scenario, called "alternate path method", a simple model(Damped single- degree- of-freedom system) out of outer side of whole
building will be made through vertical stiffness of each members and it will be analysed to check whether the system is resisting appropriately to the progressive collapse. Through this process of study, it is expected that more simple analysis method of progressive collapse from the view point of energy can be suggested in the complex structural system, namely the system which has vary members in stiffness.
