Korean traditional houses have the projecting eaves which control the sunlight and rain water not to drip down the walls. The shapes of projecting eaves are adjusted by from the building size to the place of Mid-purlin to length of Stylobate to the sizes of the major structures. The hight of the buildings are the most proportional to the projecting eaves.
