정보통신 기기의 발달로 다양한 새로운 서비스가 제공되고, 이러한 서비스를 사용하는 사용자를 안전하게 인증하기 위한 복잡한 인증 방법들이 제안되고 있다. 그러나 최신 기기 사용에 적응하기 어려운 고령자 및 장애인들은 복잡 한 인증 단계 때문에 이러한 서비스의 이용에 어려움을 겪는 경우가 많다. 본 논문은 사용자가 위임장을 통하여 인 증 단계를 대리인에게 위임함으로써 사용자의 편의성을 높인 대리 인증 프로토콜을 제안한다.

Recent advances in information and communication devices enabled various services, which require complicated procedures for user authentication to keep these services secure. However, the elderly and handicapped who are not familiar with these new types of authentication mechanisms are having difficulties in using new services. In this paper, we propose an agent-based authentication protocol in which an agent performs complicated authentication procedures on behalf of the original user based on credentials confirmed by the user.
