This study was investigated the variation of environmental wind effects by the arrangement of apartment complex. Recently, most of Korean live in apartments, however, the evaluation of wind environment has not been made as standard. Therefore, 3 prototypes of apartment arrangement such as I, V, E was studied. Wind direction changed from 0 to 360 degree per 22.5 degree.
Wind pressure tests were studied on the boundary-layer wind tunnel at Kumoh National Institute of Technology. The results were evaluated by Murakami criteria for environmental wind condition method and wind velocity distribution method. It is known that wind velocity distribution was depended on the arrangement of apartment complex.
