Today, public design is a major paradigm in the urban environment. As a expression means of subway entrance, important canopy, there is no standard about installation nevertheless. According to this study is focused on the external subway entrance canopy in Daegu because of improvements project of public design, for example improvements project of public design in
Dongsungro, design improvements project of Daegu modern bystreet, etc,. So, as public design, inquire into the importance of canopy design through the present state and investigation of the users' senses. For the better streetscape, the purpose of this study is to present reforming direction of subway entrance canopy design.
