The purpose of this study was to investigate variables leading to music therapy outcomes and to analyze relationship among these perceived by music therapists(n=16) and music therapy majoring students(n=10). Using of many statistical methods, such as Factor Analysis, T-test and correlation analysis, the results of this study were as follows. First, variables related to music therapy outcomes were categorized three, such as variables related to music therapist, clients, and music. Second, there were statistical differences in professional skills of music therapists and demographic of clients perceived by music therapist and music therapy majoring students. Third, there were statistical differences between the session that music therapy's goals were achieved highly, and the session that music therapy's goals were achieved lowly. Fourth, there were positive correlation between music therapy outcomes and professional skills of music therapist, alliance of music therapist, alliance of clients and music.

이 연구는 음악치료 실행자를 대상으로 치료결과를 가져오는 음악치료 변인들을 살펴보고 이들 사이의 관계를 알아보고자 하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 치료결과를 가져오는 음악치료 변인은 치료사와 관련된 변인, 클라이언트와 관련된 변인, 음악과 관련된 변인으로 구분할 수 있었다. 둘째, 치료결과를 가져오는 음악치료 변인을 묻는 질문에 음악치료사와 음악치료전공학생 사이에는 치료사의 전문적 기술영역과 클라이언트의 인구사회학적 영역에 대한 응답에서 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 치료목적이 높게 달성된 세션과 낮게 달성된 세션사이에서 치료결과를 가져오는 음악치료 변인들은 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 넷째, 치료사의 전문적 기술영역, 치료사의 치료협조적 영역, 클라이언트의 정서적 영역, 적용된 음악영역과 치료목적 달성 사이에 정적인 상관관계가 나타났다.
